About GO2PLC
GO2PLC is remote-access software for professional, business and private use, offered under the trading name Tech Team in Israel. Contact: info@go2plc.com.
These Terms govern the GO2PLC portal, Customer application and Support application (the service). The agreement is between GO2PLC's operator, referred to as we, us and our, and the person or organization using the service, referred to as you. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to do so.
GO2PLC enables authorized users to connect to configured PLCs, HMIs and other devices using their own engineering software. You choose the devices to access and the operations to perform. The responsibilities and safeguards below apply throughout the free pilot.
Free pilot access
The pilot is free. No credit card or payment is required. Personal accounts and organizations have no limit on the number of Deployments during the pilot; existing Target limits continue to apply. Pilot software and services may contain bugs, failures, interruptions and changes.
The pilot remains available until we decide to end it. There is no promised minimum duration or individual expiry period. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we may modify, suspend or terminate the pilot and access to it at any time, without prior notice, at our sole discretion. Ending the pilot does not create a paid subscription or authorize any charge.
Your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for your decision to use GO2PLC and for the operations you perform or authorize through it, including:
- Obtaining equipment and network owners' permission, managing access permissions and ensuring that people performing remote operations are competent and authorized.
- Selecting and configuring equipment and Targets, and verifying the identity of the equipment before performing operations.
- Commands, files, software and program changes, and other actions you perform or authorize.
- Maintaining appropriate backups and recovery arrangements, verifying changes, following manufacturer instructions and safe working procedures.
- Protecting passwords, connection codes and credentials; securing endpoints and networks under your control; and revoking access when no longer required.
Promptly report suspected account compromise or unauthorized access to info@go2plc.com.
Safe remote use
Remote access to industrial equipment is an intended use of GO2PLC. Before each planned operation, assess the consequences of connection loss, delay, interruption or failure, including an incomplete software transfer. Establish safeguards appropriate to those consequences.
Place equipment in an appropriate safe condition. Apply shutdown, isolation or other safeguards where required by the planned work, manufacturer instructions and site procedures. A STOP or OFF indication alone does not establish that equipment is safe. Arrange local assistance where needed for safe execution or recovery, and verify equipment and software status before returning equipment to operation.
GO2PLC is not a safety system, emergency-stop mechanism, safety interlock or fail-safe controller. Do not use GO2PLC where safe operation depends on an uninterrupted connection, immediate delivery of a remote command or successful completion of a remote operation.
Feedback and contact
Participation requires separate consent for the GO2PLC team to contact you to request feedback about your use of the product during the pilot. This consent covers pilot feedback requests only, not advertising or marketing. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use contact details, consent records and feedback submissions.
Do not submit traffic contents, PLC programs, passwords or connection codes through the feedback form.
Availability and warranties
The software and service are provided AS IS and AS AVAILABLE. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we provide no warranties or guarantees of availability, continuity, fitness for a particular purpose or continued operation. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or compatibility with every device, tool or network.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim liability for losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the pilot, including equipment or property damage, production downtime, loss or corruption of data or programs, and financial losses.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, modification, suspension or termination of the pilot or access to it does not create an entitlement to compensation.
Mandatory legal protections
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights, remedies or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law. All applicable mandatory protections remain in force.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and disputes between you and us arising out of or relating to GO2PLC are governed by the laws of the State of Israel and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Israel. This choice does not override mandatory protections or jurisdiction rights that applicable law does not permit the parties to waive, including those available to consumers in their country of residence.
