GO2PLC

Secure remote access to your PLCs and HMIs

Need to update PLC code or troubleshoot a machine remotely, but there’s no industrial VPN router on site? No problem.

Access remote PLCs, HMIs and other configured industrial devices with your own engineering software.

Simply connect an on-site Windows laptop to the machine’s local network via Ethernet and to the internet via Wi-Fi. Start a session in the GO2PLC Customer app, enter its connection code in the Support app on your computer, and get to work.

FROM SETUP TO CONNECTION

How GO2PLC works

1 · WEB PORTAL

Configure a deployment

Add your devices as Targets using their IP addresses. Send your customer a link to download the Customer app onto a computer connected to the devices’ local network.

2 · AT THE REMOTE SITE

Start a session in Customer

Run the Customer app on the remote-site computer and click Start support to get a connection code.

3 · ON YOUR COMPUTER

Connect with Support

Run the Support app on your computer, enter the connection code, and access the configured devices using your own engineering software.

BEFORE YOU CONNECT

What you’ll need

Windows on both sides
The Customer application and Support application run on Windows x64; Tailscale requires Windows 10 or later. Each opens its interface in your browser; Chrome and Edge are tested.
A local device connection
The Customer computer needs a network interface on each target device’s local IPv4 subnet and access to the services specified for that target. Keep it running and connected during the session.
Administrator permission
Allow administrator permissions for both applications. Their downloads include the .NET runtime and the Tailscale installer. GO2PLC installs Tailscale when needed and manages its session sign-in.
Internet on both computers
Both computers must be able to reach GO2PLC and Tailscale services. If Tailscale is already in use, you may need to disconnect it and close its desktop client before setup.

Use your own engineering software and licenses. Compatibility depends on the tool, device and network setup.
